After a very long walk from Dunoon looking for cowal graveyard we asked someone how long we had to go to fined this place where we going to we decided to stop and phone the Taxi George Dunoon Taxi name came up 1st we phoned them and told them where we are he said he be there in 7mins & he did very helpful he was he taken us there after we arrived we asked him if he could come in half an hour & he did after that we asked him if could drop us at the Rock cafe we had a lovely day every one is very helpful 😃and very reasonable Taxi fare too 👍- Clare Mc Cluskey

George came to the rescue this weekend. Just as a friend arrived for a long weekend my car had to be towed away to the garage! George put on a great tour of the area around Dunnon sharing is in depth knowledge of the various ancient burial mounds, churches, castles and the Clan Lamont/Campbell battles! Both my friend and I learnt a lot and I will definitely be booking again when other friends arrive for a visit. Thanks George - you're a life saver :) - Dawn Petherick
I travelled up to Innellan to visit a friend for a long weekend. Just as I was arriving on the ferry, her car broke down. So we had a Sunday afternoon out with taxi George :-) George took us on a 3 hour tour which turned into 4.5 hours. We saw some beautiful scenery, some little hidden places off the beaten track, a couple of churches and all served up with history, local info and good conversion. A fab afternoon out! Just wanted to say a huge thanks for the efficient, friendly and professional service you provided to our guests and ourselves last Friday and Saturday evening for our wedding. It really made the weekend for us knowing that we had reliable transport organised. We experienced a couple of tours with George in Dunoon, Kilmun, Toward and Inverchaolain - George is very knowledgeable about the local history and brings to life the stories at the locations where they took place. Particularly notable was the visit to Toward Castle where we felt the presence of Mary Queen of Scots and where stunned by the Scottish Medieval vaulted ceiling in the castle ruins. We ended our day at the Clan Lamont centre where we were warmly welcomed by Mary who has an extensive archive to be explored. If you are in the Lamont Clan you will not be disappointed! George took excellent care of us throughout the tours and we had a memorable and educational visit. Many, many thanks
